Our concept
Art&Wine is an original guide to art and wine pairings. We promote experiences designed to give an insight into the Portuguese art scene and wine production. We take the guide lines of food and wine pairing, placing it in a new field. This is a unique attraction for tourists who visit Lisbon.
Our aim is to provide intimate meetings that expand the knowledge and palate, combining art and wine. The schedules are carefully planned, by consulting Art professionals and wine producers. Each artwork or art theme links directly to the concepts and flavours behind the selected wines. Many of these wines are not available to the general public and are distinguished by their rarity and quality.
Our guests will be introduced to an artistic field, from Classical Art to Contemporary Art, and they will be given a meaningful review, by observing selected objects and discussing certain issues about the process of art making. Then we will move on to the wine tasting and gather together in special locations to contemplate and discuss the artworks we have seen. We will enjoy the pairings between art and wine, with Lisbon’s sunset in the background.

Our philosophy
The increased tourism in Lisbon has done a lot to put us on the radar as a wonderful destination. However, we feel that we can provide an additional experience to our visitors. We group art and wine as our cultural edifying expressions and, through our services, we create a new language that tourists will learn to associate with Portugal.

With the growing number of visitors to our country, we thought it was important
to offer a refined and innovative service, which would improve the perception for foreigners in relation to Portuguese culture. Art&Wine pairings combines the analysis of iconic artworks and artistic circumstances in Lisbon with wine tastings. The pairings express our traditions and emerging values.
This project also aims to present contemporary artists while simultaneously promoting Portuguese wine in an enriching and innovative way, placing it in a new field.
